News: One hurt in car vs. pedestrian crash on V Street in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on the 1200 block of V St. before 5:30 p.m. Thursday. 

The collision happened on the westbound lanes, according to DC Police Traffic. At the time of reporting, drivers were asked to seek alternative routes and follow guidance from the police. 

Officials have not released the victim’s identity, nor have they indicated what led to the collision. However, details will be issued to the newsblog when they become publicly available.
