News: One hurt in truck collision on I-495 in Temple Hills

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, MD – First responders were called to a truck crash at I-95 and I-495 South along MD-5 in Temple Hills Wednesday. 

The collision occurred before 5:45 a.m., according to MATOC Alerts. All lanes were blocked, and traffic delays lingered. However, all lanes reopened, and the crash was moved to the right shoulder. 

It appears no other vehicles were involved. One person sustained unspecified injuries. 

Officials have not indicated what led to Wednesday’s collision. However, our newsroom will monitor for updates and issue them to the blog when they become available.
