BRANDYWINE, MD – A passenger from D.C. died last night after a car crashed into the vehicle he was riding in, according to WTOP News.
A Chevrolet Corvette was traveling down Branch Avenue when it made a turn onto Moores Road. At about 8:25 p.m., the vehicle crashed into an Acura MDX after driving into its path. The Corvette’s passenger, a 48-year-old man from D.C., was killed after the Acura crashed into his side.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene in the southbound lanes of Branch Avenue, which were shut down until early this morning. The driver of the Corvette was transported to a trauma center.
Additional details about the cause of the crash are currently available. The Maryland State Police Department is looking into the accident.
