WASHINGTON, DC – One person suffered minor injuries after a concrete truck overturned in Southeast DC Tuesday morning.
According to DC Fire and EMS, the single-vehicle crash took place in the 1400 block of 1st Street SE around 9:00 AM on May 17th.
It is unclear what caused the concrete truck to overturn. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
DC Fire and EMS rescued the driver from the crashed truck. The driver reportedly suffered minor injuries, and it is unknown if they required hospitalization.
A Hazmat Unit was requested to clear the scene due to a fuel spill and a concrete spill.
