WASHINGTON, DC – One person suffered serious injuries after a car crashed into a house in Northeast DC Thursday morning.
According to WUSA, the crash took place on Florida Avenue NE around 9:30 AM on August 18th.
At this time, it is unclear what caused the driver to crash their vehicle into the house.
There were four people in the house at the time of the crash. They escaped uninjured but are currently displaced. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
The driver suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. Their identity and condition remain unknown.
Metro Police continue to investigate the accident.
