News: One injured in collision between dirt bike and tractor-trailer

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A dirt bike rider suffered serious injuries after they crashed into a tractor-trailer Wednesday night.

According to WBAL, the collision took place at the intersection of East Ordnance Road and Blades Lane around 8:40 PM on May 11th.

The dirt bike reportedly attempted to turn in a dark intersection and crashed into the right side of an oncoming tractor trailer. The driver and passenger on the dirt bike were ejected from the vehicle on impact.

The passenger fled on foot and has not been found.

The driver suffered serious injuries and has been taken to Shock Trauma. Their current condition is unknown.

The driver of the tractor trailer remained at the scene.
