News: One injured in rollover crash on I-295 in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON, DC – One person suffered injuries after a single-vehicle crash on I-295 in Southeast DC Wednesday afternoon.

According to DC Fire and EMS, the crash took place on I-295 southbound near the 11th Street Bridge around 2:00 PM on August 10th.

At this time, the cause of the crash remains unknown. The single occupant of the overturned vehicle was able to self-extricate. They declined medical treatment at the scene, but their current condition is unknown.

Metro Police continue to investigate the accident.
