News: One killed after single-vehicle wreck in Howard County

BALTIMORE, MD – An Elkridge man died early this morning after a motor vehicle crash, CBS Baltimore reports.

A Toyota Corolla was driving south on Route 1 when it rear-ended a tractor-trailer. The wreck took place at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday, near the intersection with Blue Stream Drive.

One occupant, a 32-year-old man from Elkridge, was pronounced deceased after the crash. The tractor-trailer’s driver did not sustain any injuries.

Howard County Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
