News: One killed in single-vehicle crash in Gaithersburg

GAITHERSBURG, MD – One person died after a single-vehicle crash in Gaithersburg Saturday morning.

According to the Daily Voice, the fatal crash occurred at 28540 Ridge Road around 8:15 AM on June 18th.

The victim was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry southbound on Ridge Road when they lost control of the vehicle. The Toyota crossed into the northbound lanes, exited the roadway, and crashed head-on into a tree.

The driver, identified as 45-year-old Rene Rivas Quinteros, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

Montgomery County Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
