GERMANTOWN, MD – One person died after a single-vehicle crash in Germantown late Thursday night.
According to FOX 5, the fatal accident occurred on Frederick Road near Wheatfield Drive around 11:40 PM on June 9th.
A silver 2007 Infinity M35 was reportedly traveling southbound on Frederick Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Infinity crossed over the median and crashed into a tree. The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
The driver unfortunately succumbed to their injuries at a nearby hospital several hours after the crash. The victim’s identity remains unknown.
Montgomery County police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
