GAITHERSBURG, MD – A 60-year-old woman died after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Gaithersburg Friday afternoon.
According to WUSA, the fatal crash took place on Woodfield Road between Watkins Road and Deanna Drive on April 22nd.
The victim was reportedly driving a 2006 Dodge Magnum north on Woodfield Road when they lost control of the vehicle. The Dodge Magnum crashed into several fence posts and eventually exited the roadway and overturned in a field. The victim was ejected during the crash.
First responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation.
