HAGERSTOWN, MD – One person died in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Hagerstown Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Daily Voice, the fatal accident took place at the intersection of Downsville Pike and Rench Road around 1:20 PM on August 2nd.
A 2004 Toyota Highlander was reportedly traveling northbound on Downsville Pike when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The Toyota exited the roadway and rolled several times before coming to a stop. The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
Authorities identified the driver as 51-year-old John Thomas Greene III. Greene was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Washington County Police continue to investigate the cause of the fatal crash.
