LEESBURG, VA – One person succumbed to their injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Leesburg Sunday evening.
According to LoudounNow, the fatal crash took place at the intersection of Shreve Mill Road and Evergreen Mills Road around 6:00 PM on June 26th.
The driver of a 1999 Honda CRV reportedly attempted to turn left onto Evergreen Mills Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The driver, 72-year-old Anwar Krajah, suffered critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital. They unfortunately died several days after the crash.
Loudoun County Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
