News: One killed, one injured in head-on collision in Fulton

FULTON, MD – One person died and another suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Fulton Monday afternoon.

According to the Shore News Network, the fatal crash took place on Browns Bridge Road near Lime Kiln Road around 2:15 on August 15th.

A 2008 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound on Browns Bridge Road when the vehicle crossed over the center line and struck a 2016 BMW X5 head-on. It is unclear what caused the driver of the Chevrolet to lose control of the vehicle.

The driver of the Chevrolet was unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity remains unknown.

The driver of the BMW suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries and was hospitalized. 

Montgomery County Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
