WOODBRIDGE, VA – One person died and another suffered injuries after a collision between a motorcycle and a car Friday night.

According to WTOP, the fatal crash took place at the intersection of Neabsco Mills Road and Smoke Court around 9:30 PM on June 10th. 

A motorcycle reportedly sped through the intersection as a 2004 Lexus was attempting to turn left onto Smoke Court. The motorcycle collided with the Lexus, and the motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle.

The motorcyclist sadly died at the scene. They have been identified as 40-year-old Ricky Raiseem Whittington.

The driver of the Lexus suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.

Prince William police continue to investigate the fatal accident. Authorities request that anyone with information to contact the Prince William Police Department.
