News: One killed, one seriously injured in single-vehicle crash on I-95

HOWARD CO., MD – One person died and another suffered serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash on I-95 Thursday morning.

According to WMAR 2, the fatal accident took place on I-95 northbound just north of MD-100 on July 14th.

At this time, the cause of the crash remains unclear.

The driver, 70-year-old Dirk McKan, unfortunately succumbed to the injuries he suffered in the crash.

The passenger, 65-year-old Julia Ann Doctor, suffered serious injuries and is currently hospitalized. Her condition is unknown.

Howard County Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the fatal accident.
