GLEN BURNIE, MD – One person died and two others, including a child, suffered injuries after a head-on collision Saturday afternoon.
According to Eye on Annapolis, the fatal accident took place on Point Pleasant Road at Inglewood Drive around 4:00 PM on June 25th.
A Subaru sedan was reportedly traveling westbound when the vehicle crossed over the centerline and struck a Ford pickup truck head-on.
The driver of the Subaru was trapped in the vehicle following the accident and pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified the victim as 21-year-old Ashley Hosein.
The victim’s three-year-old child was also in the Subaru at the time of the crash and suffered serious injuries. The unidentified child was taken to John Hopkins Pediatrics. Their current condition is unknown.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck suffered minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.
The fatal accident remains under investigation by the Anne Arundel County Traffic Safety Section.
