NANJEMOY, MD – One person died and two others suffered serious injuries after a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning.
According to the Daily Voice, the fatal accident occurred in the 11300 block of Maryland Point Road around 2:15 AM on July 8th.
The vehicle reportedly exited the roadway and crashed head-on into a tree. The car caught fire on impact.
Two occupants were able to escape the burning car and have been hospitalized. The third occupants unfortunately died at the scene. Their identity remains unknown.
Charles County Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the fatal crash.
