LINTHICUM, MD – A motorist was killed after their vehicle crashed into a light rail train today, WBAL TV 11 reports.
The car crashed into a Light RailLink train at about 9 a.m. today. Authorities were called to the scene at the intersection of Camp Meade Road and Maple Road East.
The driver was extricated from their vehicle and pronounced dead at the crash site.
Only the operator was aboard the train at the time of the accident and did not sustain any injuries.
The circumstances of the wreck are currently unknown.
