SILVER SPRING, MD – One person suffered serious injuries after a rollover crash resulted in a vehicle fire Thursday afternoon.
According to the Moco Show, the crash occurred on 16th Street near Spring Street around 5:00 PM on April 28th.
The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing the car to crash into a guardrail and overturn. The vehicle subsequently burst into flames.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to the crash and were able to extinguish the burning vehicle. One person was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Their current condition is unknown.
16th Street was shut down for several hours as first responders cleared the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
