WASHINGTON, DC – One person suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle collision resulted in a vehicle fire Wednesday morning.
According to NBC 4, the crash occurred on I-695 westbound at M Street around 5:00 AM on May 4th.
Two vehicles collided on I-695. One of the vehicles caught fire on impact.
DC Fire and EMS report that they were able to extinguish the vehicle and one person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The identity and condition of the injured person remains unknown.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
