News: Park Police officer injured in motorcycle crash on I-395

WASHINGTON, DC – A US Park Police officer suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident on I-395 Wednesday evening.

According to FOX, the crash took place on I-395 near Maine Avenue around 6:30 PM on July 6th.

At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

A US Park Police helicopter airlifted the officer to a nearby hospital for treatment. The officer’s identity is currently unknown.

The accident remains under investigation.
