News: Passenger killed in single-vehicle crash in District Heights

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – A male passenger succumbed to their injuries last Tuesday after a single-vehicle crash in District Heights.

According to the Shore News Network, the fatal accident occurred on Pennsylvania Avenue near Brooks Drive around 10:35 PM on July 15th.

The car was reportedly traveling northbound on Pennsylvania Avenue when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle exited the roadway and crashed into a parking lot, striking multiple unoccupied vehicles.

The passenger, identified as 48-year-old Corey Forrest, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Forest unfortunately died four days later on July 19th.

It is unclear if the driver of the vehicle suffered any injuries.
