PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – A 54-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and died after getting hit by two cars Friday in Manassas.

The collision happened before 10 pm at the intersection of Sudley Road and Stream Walk Lane.

The pedestrian was identified as Juan Torress Lizma. The first car to hit him was a 2020 Ford Escape and then a Toyota Prius.

Police said Lizma declined to use the crosswalk. He was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries and was pronounced dead on Saturday.

The two drivers remained at the scene and were not impaired.
