GLENARDEN, MD – A man was struck and killed while trying to cross a highway last Thursday, according to Shore News Network.
The man was walking across Martin Luther King Jr. Highway when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Authorities were called to the scene of the wreck at the highway’s intersection with Glenarden Parkway at about 8:30 p.m.
The pedestrian, a 60-year-old man, died at the scene of the crash.
The vehicle’s driver did not sustain any injuries after the accident. We will monitor this story as the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit investigates.
