CLINTON, MD – A vehicle struck and severely injured a man on the side of the road this morning, according to WTOP News.
A man exited his vehicle to talk with another motorist after a previous collision. He was then hit by an oncoming vehicle.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene of the wreck on Branch Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. The man was taken to a trauma center via airlift. He is reportedly in unstable condition.
Only one northbound lane was left open as emergency responders were on the scene. The Maryland State Police Department is currently handling the investigation.
