SUITLAND-SILVER HILL, MD – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Prince George’s County Saturday night.
According to WUSA, the fatal collision took place at the intersection of Silver Hill Road and Navy Day Drive just before midnight on June 18th.
A gray or silver vehicle reportedly struck the pedestrian in the roadway and immediately fled the scene. First responders discovered the pedestrian lying in the road with critical injuries. The pedestrian unfortunately died at the scene shortly after.
The victim’s identity remains unknown.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash. They request that anyone with information about the hit-and-run or the vehicle involved contact the Prince George’s County Police Department.
