WASHINGTON, DC – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle while walking their dog in Northwest DC Saturday.
According to WUSA, the collision occurred at the intersection of Virginia Avenue NW and Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway around 5:00 PM.
The pedestrian was hospitalized for their injuries but has since been released. Their identity is unknown at this time.
Metro Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
