News: Pedestrian struck and killed by vehicle in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON, DC – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Northwest DC Wednesday afternoon.

According to WUSA, the fatal accident took place in the 2100 block of Virginia Avenue NW on August 3rd.

At this time, the circumstances of the collision remain unclear. The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene.

The victim was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity is unknown.

Metro Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
