WASHINGTON, DC – A pedestrian died after they were struck by a vehicle in the early hours of Monday morning.
According to WUSA, the fatal collision took place at the intersection of North Capitol Street and Florida Avenue around 2:30 AM on May 2nd.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Their identity has not been released.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown. The driver remained at the scene following the collision.
Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
