WALDORF, MD – One person has died after they were struck by a vehicle in Waldorf Thursday night.
According to the BayNet, the fatal collision took place in the 3000 block of Leonardtown Road around 9:00 PM on March 31st.
The pedestrian reportedly stepped out in front of the vehicle and the driver was unable to stop in time.
EMS unfortunately pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Their identity is unknown at this time.
Waldorf police and the State Highway Administration continue to investigate the fatal crash.
