News: Pedestrian struck and killed near Dulles International Airport

DULLES, VA – A pedestrian died after they were struck by a vehicle near Dulles International Airport Tuesday night.

According to Fairfax Now, the fatal collision took place on Dulles Access Road westbound near Reston Parkway around 9:20 PM on July 5th.

The pedestrian was reportedly in the westbound lanes of the highway when they were struck. The driver involved remained at the scene.

First responders transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where they unfortunately succumbed to their injuries. Their identity remains unknown.

Fairfax County Police continue to investigate the fatal accident.
