PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – A Fort Washington man died over the weekend after he was involved in a single-car crash, the Daily Voice reports.
A vehicle was traveling eastbound on Old Fort Road at about 3:40 a.m. Friday when the wreck took place. The driver lost control of the car and crashed into a pole after swerving off of the road.
Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the site of the crash. The victim was identified as a 44-year-old from Fort Washington.
Additional details about the cause of the crash are currently unknown as the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit looks into the incident.
