News: Possible injuries reported after crash on I-495 in North Springfield

NORTH SPRINGFIELD, VA – Fairfax County Fire and EMS responded to a crash with possible injuries on I-495 in North Springfield Friday morning.

According to WTOP, the crash took place on I-495 near Braddock Road around 10:00 AM on August 5th.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. The left side of I-495 remains blocked off in the area of the crash as first responders work to clear the scene.

The number and severity of injuries suffered remains unknown.

Fairfax County Police continue to investigate the accident.
