WICOMICO COUNTY, MD – EMS pronounced one woman dead on Thursday after an accident involving two cars, Del Marva Now reports.
Two vehicles collided at the Naylor Mill Road and Brick Kiln Road intersection at about 8:20 a.m. Thursday. Both cars overturned, trapping the drivers inside.
One driver, a 60-year-old woman from Salisbury, died at the site of the accident. Emergency personnel transported the second driver to a medical center for their injuries. The two drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles.
Deputies with the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office are looking into the cause of the wreck.
