News: Silver Spring multi-vehicle crash injures five

SILVER SPRING, MD – A Monday morning several-vehicle crash in Silver Spring hospitalized five people, WUSA 9 reported. 

The collision occurred around 3 am on University Boulevard. It is unclear what led to the crash. However, the accident’s impact was enough to injure four seriously and led to one sustaining minor unspecified injuries. 

At the time of reporting, all southbound lanes on University Boulevard were closed. 

The collision is under investigation.
