BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – A Pennsylvania man was killed on Sunday after his vehicle crashed on a highway, according to the Daily Voice.
A man was traveling on I-83 when his 2002 Volkswagen Golf GTI swerved over the centerline and crashed. The vehicle then veered off of the road and flipped over, ejecting the driver.
Authorities responded to the crash at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday, near Exit 36 of the highway.
The driver was transported to WellSpan York Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead at 11:21 p.m. He was a 39-year-old from Pennsylvania.
His passenger was also hospitalized for minor injuries, the York County Coroner’s Office reports.
The cause of the wreck is currently being investigated by Maryland State Police.
