STERLING, VA – EMS pronounced a 19-year-old deceased on Friday when his car crashed on the side of a road, according to WDVM.
A driver was heading down Russell Branch Parkway at about 9 p.m. when the wreck occurred. The vehicle swerved from the roadway near Kincora Drive and drove through a fence. It came to a stop after flipping into a pond.
Emergency responders transported the 19-year-old driver to a local trauma center, where he later passed away.
It’s unclear what caused the car to crash. We will be following this story as local authorities investigate.
