GAITHERSBURG, MD – A man in his 60’s passed away after his white sedan crashed into a townhouse Monday in Gaithersburg.
The collision occurred at the 300 block of Orchard Ridge Drive around 3 pm, according to NBC Washington.
It is unclear what led to the crash. However, the impact of the collision led to the car and part of the townhouse catching fire.
The driver became trapped and could escape due to aid from fire crews. He was taken to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
