CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD – A stolen U-Haul pickup truck crashed into a police vehicle in Capitol Heights Tuesday morning.
According to WUSA, the collision took place on Martin Luther King Jr. Highway near Sheriff Road around 11:20 AM on August 16th.
Two men had reportedly stolen the U-Haul vehicle from a nearby hardware store. When local police spotted the stolen vehicle, a police chase ensued. The U-Haul eventually crashed into the police vehicle outside of a Shell gas station.
It is unclear if anyone involved suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Prince George’s County Police continue to investigate the accident.
