BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – The driver of a stolen car was taken into custody yesterday after a police pursuit ending in a collision, according to WBAL News Radio.
Police spotted a stolen Honda Fit near Loganville, Pennsylvania at about 6:20 a.m. Monday. They pursued the vehicle after its driver failed to comply with a traffic stop.
The car drove down I-83 and crossed state lines into Baltimore County, Maryland. The Honda led police on a high-speed chase until it crashed near the York Road and Ridgebrook Road intersection.
Medics transported the driver to a hospital for his injuries. It’s unclear whether anyone else was hurt in the wreck.
The Pennsylvania State Police are handling the investigation.
