FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA – A teenage girl later died after she was hit by a car in Bailey’s Crosswalk Wednesday.
The collision occurred before 9 a.m. at Tyler Street and Barcroft View Terrace, FFX Now reported.
After the girl was struck, she was ejected 20 to 30 feet. She later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area around Tyler Street and Barcroft View Terrace and seek alternative routes.
