ALEXANDRIA, VA – A 16-year-old was left with life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a car in Alexandria Saturday.
The crash occurred at North Beauregard Street and Sanger Avenue before 10:30 pm, according to The Washington Post.
The teenager was riding a scooter, trying to make a left turn. As a result, they were struck by a car.
The driver cooperated with investigators and remained at the scene.
Alexandria Police continue to investigate the crash.
