WASHINGTON, DC – Three people suffered injuries after a three-vehicle crash involving entrapment Monday evening.
According to ABC 7, the crash occurred in the 2300 block of Southern Avenue SE around 7:00 PM.
At this time, the exact circumstances of the accident are unclear.
Three people were trapped in their vehicles following the crash. DC Fire and EMS rescued two people from one vehicle and one person from another vehicle.
All three people were taken to a local trauma center. DC Fire and EMS report that two people suffered critical injuries and one person suffered serious injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
