WASHINGTON, DC – Three people, including one child, suffered injuries after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle Saturday night.
According to WTOP, the crash occurred on DC-295 northbound near Pennsylvania Avenue around 11:00 PM on May 21st.
At this time, the cause of the accident remains unknown.
The car overturned as a result of the accident and the driver was ejected into a wooded ravine. DC Fire and EMS were able to rescue the driver and an underage passenger from the overturned vehicle. Both suffered serious injuries.
The motorcyclist also suffered serious injuries. All three people remain hospitalized.
D.C. Police continue to investigate the accident.
