ALEXANDRIA, VA – Authorities were called to investigate an incident involving a stuck vehicle near King Street-Old Town Metro Station, according to ABC 7 News.
A truck was driving on King Street when it got stuck under a Metro bridge. Emergency responders with the Alexandria Fire Department responded to the site of the wreck at about 10:28 a.m. Wednesday.
The truck was in the 1900 block when it became lodged under the bridge. There were no reported injuries after the incident.
Local police shut down King Street at its intersections with Dangerfield Road and Diagonal Road about an hour later. Officials warned the public to seek alternate routes to avoid the site.
