BALTIMORE, MD – A driver was pronounced dead after two vehicles collided head-on this morning, CBS Baltimore reports.

A man was driving north on Fort Smallwood Road when his Dodge Dakota swerved into the opposite lane. He then crashed into a Chevrolet Tahoe. Authorities responded to the accident at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department reports that the wreck took place on Stoney Creek Bridge.

The Dodge driver, a 30-year-old man from Pasadena, died at the site of the crash. A woman driving the Chevrolet Tahoe was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.

Anne Arundel County police are currently looking into the circumstances of the crash.
