WARREN COUNTY, VA – Two female drivers were transported to hospitals on Wednesday after their sedans crashed, The Northern Virginia Daily reports.
The two vehicles were traveling on opposite sides of Strasburg Road when they crashed head-on. It’s unclear which car swerved over the median and hit the other. The wreck took place at about 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The Warren County Fire and Rescue Department rescued one woman from a small sedan. Both drivers were taken to local hospitals, one via airlift. Both of their injuries are non-life-threatening.
One passenger from each car was hospitalized at Warren Memorial Hospital.
The two sedans sustained severe damage and were towed away from the site of the crash.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking into the circumstances of the wreck.
