WASHINGTON, DC – Two people suffered injuries after a single-vehicle accident involving entrapment Wednesday night.
According to DC Fire and EMS, the accident took place in the 1800 block of Fenwick Street NE around 8:00 PM on June 8th.
At this time, the cause of the accident remains unknown. The vehicle overturned onto its side, leaving two occupants trapped inside.
DC Fire and EMS were able to rescue both people upon arriving at the scene. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the other refused further medical treatment at the scene.
DC police continue to investigate the single-vehicle accident.
