News: Two killed, one injured in head-on crash in District Heights

DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD – Two people died and one person suffered injuries after two-vehicles collided head-on Friday evening.

According to WTOP, the crash took place in the 5700 block of Marlboro Pike around 7:50 PM on May 20th.

An SUV reportedly crossed over the center line and struck an oncoming pickup truck head-on.

The driver of the SUV was hospitalized with critical injuries. They have since passed away. Authorities identified the driver as 29-year-old Marquise Lewis. 

A passenger in the pickup truck also succumbed to their injuries a day after arriving at the hospital. They have been identified as 48-year-old Emma Bradley.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries and remains in stable condition.

The fatal accident remains under investigation.
